Finals are over and I'm going home today! Wow, I survived my first semester at college. It's kinda weird. And really really awesome. I'm so excited that I get a month off for the break. I had fun last night. I went to Moe's to eat with Anne because the dining hall was closed... along with every other eating place on campus. And they're closed until next semester. So what are those poor people that stay here until Sunday supposed to eat? Well after that I was supposed to watch the Family Guy Holiday Special with Woodhurst. But he stood me up. Hahaha. Apparently he was asleep. Mmmmhmmmmm. It's ok, I'll forgive him. So I watched TV alone and that was cool. It was a funny show. Then I started packing and realized I really needed to vaccuum (I know that's probably spelled wrong, but I don't remember if it's really vaccum or vacuum, and I'm too lazy to look it up). So I got out my handy dandy hand vac, and used it to clean the whole floor. So that was fun. Hehe. Then I called my boyfriend. Because I miss my David. Ok, sorry, had to throw in an "awww" mushy kinda moment. Then I called my mom and talked for an hour about what I need to bring home, etc. Then I keep packing for about another hour. Then I get this call from Rachel. And I thought we would just end up talking for a few minutes as usual, but then it ends up with her coming over. I was like, yay maybe this will be sort of an eventful night. Cause I haven't seen Rachel in a while and we don't get to hang out a lot. So she came over and I finished packing and then we went outside and played with our super cool glow-in-the-dark frisbees. Cause we're just cool like that. Then we came back inside and defrosted and it was like 2:30 in the morning so Rachel had to go and then I went to sleep. So that was fun! Yay for me. So now I need to go find something to eat and shower and all that jazz. Sooooooo... Happy Holidays everyone!

Well you don't have to wonder what I'm thinking right now because I'm telling you. Haha. SO. Yay, I'm done with my chemistry and calculus exams. Woohoo. Now I just have to get through biology. I wish I was more excited about bio, especially since it's my major. Oh well. Maybe some other time. So I went to the gym this morning and had a real nice workout. Then I went to the dining hall for lunch. There was nothing good. So I ate pizza and french fries. Way to go on canceling out my exercise. I didn't really get any studying done today, so I guess I'm gonna be up late doing that. Maybe. I get to go home in 2 days! I'm happy about that. I talked to my mommy for 2 hours on the phone today. It was crazy.
I've decided that I have some sort of giggle disease. Cause I always get the giggles. But hey, "they" say that people who laugh more live longer. I really can't wait to cut all my hair off. I'm going to do it next Thursday, the 16th. From scalp to end I'd say it's about 20 inches right now. That's a whole lot of hair. And I'm cutting off about 10 1/2 inches. So yeah, that'll be fun.
Well I think it's study time now. Or I need to start packing. Something other than this. Bye.

It's the beginning of the dreaded finals week. I have been studying chemistry all day today. I will get up tomorrow and when I am not eating or doing other necessary things, I will still be studying chem until 2:50 in the afternoon, which is the time of doom (aka., the chem final). Then after that, do I get a break, nope, not quite. I have to study calculus until that final on Wednesday. Then I have to study biology until that final on Friday! Then I'll be free!!! Oh joy, oh rapture. So everyone please pray for me so that I can make it through this week alive (and pass all my exams/classes). I just wanna take a break. And watch TV for a few hours. And eat an ice cream cone. Not the ones from the dining hall. But like from a little ice cream shop. In a waffle cone. Mmmm. I need to stop thinking about food. So I think I'm going to go to bed. And get 10 hours of sleep. Wow, that sounds awesome. Night night everyone! (Oh by the way, the answer to the question in the title: because he was polar! Haha I'm such a nerd).

I get to go home tomorrow! I excited. All I have to do is get through my calculus test in the morning (which shouldn't be too bad), and then I'm leaving after that. I'm hoping I'll get home in time to pick up my brother from school and maybe I'll get to go see some of my old teachers. I started thinking about what I want to get people for Christmas yesterday and I had no idea. Well except for one person, I found what I want to get her, I just hope they still have it cause it's awesome! As for the rest of the people I'm not sure. I have to get a secret santa gift and I kinda have an idea for that but I'm not sure still. And the hardest thing to think of right now is a present for my boyfriend. I want to be crafty and make something. That would be fun to do for all my friends and family actually. But I'm not that crafty. Oh well. I finally cleaned up my room some but I still really need to vacuum. Ewww. So chemistry is stupid. I'm a biology major. Jeez. Oh and if you haven't seen The Incredibles, you should. Cause I said so. Who's happy this week is over? I am!!! I had all sorts of stuff to do this week and now I'm done! And next week I get to go home for Thanksgiving. I'm enthused. I can't wait to eat. I really want some squash casserole. And pumpkin bread. Mmmmmm.... Ok, enough about food. So I went and played putt-putt with the posse from WCF last weekend and it was tons of fun. I got a hole in one on the last hole! Yay for me. Then I played games and won tickets which enabled me to get spiffy prizes. I think my favorite prize is the tooth. Yes I got a tooth. He is spongey and he smiles and his name is Toothy. And he has a cavity. But he's a happy tooth anyways.

It's yucky and rainy outside, but it's ok cause I have no more classes today and I'm wearing my new warm and cozy sweater that I got for my birthday. I had a calculus test this morning which wasn't fun and my chem recitation was canceled, so I'm finished! But I plan on doing lots of homework. So Anne came over last night and we were doing homework and we started talking about something to do with a boy having her baby and we went on to some other random topic and something made us get the giggles. But it wasn't just the regular giggles, this was like nonstop really hard laughing for like 10 or 15 minutes. It was fun. And now we'll live longer. I just wish we could remember what spurred the fit. Oh well. I have no 8AM classes next semester! I'm so happy. My earliest classes Mon, Wed, and Fri are at 10, and Tue and Thur they're at 2 and 3 (respectively). Only 3 weeks of classes left!!! Woohoo. I'm trying to learn some more sign language cause it's fun. And who knows when I might need it. I should learn to say something really philosphical or inspirational. Ok well since nobody seems to want to post answers to the questions I put up at the end of my splurges, I'm going to stop doing them until I get an overwhelming diluge of requests to bring them back. I put a lot of heart and soul into those questions, and look what I get! Nothing! Teehee. Ok, I'll talk to you guys later. Unless I'm only just talking to myself... then, uhhh nevermind....

2 days until my birthday!!!!!!! Yippy skippy. So I'm writing this essay for my english class. And it's supposed to be an argument paper about and article that has to do with technology (as usual). So I stumble along this article called "Romance in the Information Age" by Christine Rosen. It's about how the use of technologies such as the phone, instant messaging, and even this thingy I'm writing on now, influences our emotions. When I saw this I immediately knew I had to write about it because I have been victim of this before. The most obvious thing for me is instant messages. You can never get your point across the way you want to when you're talking about something on the internet. I've tried to ask someone out on an instant message before, and at first they thought it might be my little brother on the computer playing a joke. Now how is that supposed to make me feel. It just doesn't work right. Even on the phone. If you're furious at your ex-boyfriend for breaking up with you and not bothering to tell you about it, you can't yell at him and know that he's listening or even caring what you're saying if you do it over the phone. Anyways. That's enough about that. I'm sure most everybody has skipped through what I just wrote or even stopped and closed the window. But that's ok. You aren't cool enough! Haha. Just kidding. I love you all. So I was eating a fruit roll up the other day (yeah, you remember those things? they're awesome!) and I couldn't get it unrolled. I mean seriously, I don't remember ever having a problem with them when I was little, so what's with it now. Whatever, after about 15 minutes of fiddling with it and having little green pieces of it everywhere I finally got it undone and was able to eat the chewy fruity goodness. So this leads me to my random question of the day (which no one bothered to answer last time! I'm ashamed of you all!):

So Rocky Horror Picture Show was awesome. We time warped our butts off. Tomorrow is Halloween! Yay for candy and stuff. Too bad I don't get to go trick or treating. One week til my birthday!!! I'm going to be 19. It's not a very special age. But I did start thinking that it does kinda start the actual feeling old thing. I mean when you turn 18 it's like, that's the big age to turn, but you're still just a teenager. You just crossed that milestone. Turning 19 is just like, wow now I'm just getting old. Anywho. I really want to go shopping. With my mom. Cause when I go out shopping now I see a bunch of stuff I want but I know I can't waste my money on it. But when I go home next weekend I can go shopping with my mom and she can buy stuff for me and I don't have to feel bad about it :-) I really wish it was Christmas. Not because of the presents, but just because I love Christmas time. Wearing warm clothes when it's really cold. The Christmas smell. Going shopping for other people. Being with the people you love. It's great. But I'm sure it will come quickly enough now that it's the end of October. I also really like the fact that we're done with school 2 weeks before Christmas. So now that I've blabbed on about stuff I have a question for any of the cool people who have decided to read this. It's just a fun question so feel free to leave me a comment. It'll be fun. If you could only listen to one CD for the rest of your life (it can't be a mix you make, it has to be one you can buy at the store) what would it be?

"Duck duck goose" was not my favorite game as a child. I just like ducks and geese. Gooses. Geeses. Whatever. So there's a football game tonight against VA Tech. What the heck is a Hokie anyways? Costume party tomorrow night! I'm gonna be a dancer. But I'm not gonna dress how nondancers thing dancers dress all the time. You know- black leotard, pink tights, tutu, etc. I'm gonna dress like a real dances dresses in class. So I'm gonna be kinda tacky lookin. But it's fun. And I need to think of something for David to dress up as. Maybe a pirate. Arrrrrr!!! I dunno. Then we're going to see Rocky Horror Show! Woohoo! And I'm dressing up for that too. I'm ready to do the time warp baby! So I'm totally not doing my homework like I should be right now. And that's fun. And there's a roach living somewhere in my desk. So if anyone is being an exterminator for Halloween and would like to come kill this ferocious monster, let me know.
